IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.
I read something on facebook which i don’t even use lol about that this would come out in 1-2 weeks and its been 2 weeks and 1 day since then so im really hoping it will come out in a few days i cant wait i to order it IMMEDIATELY when it COMES out!
It feels so nice to be represented somewhere in a not bad way, everything else I see is like “how to deal with your burden of a partner who has BPD” and I never see anyone do anything good for us, thank you I can’t wait
I’ve been periodically checking on this bunny for so long, I’m starting to get frustrated. I just really don’t understand why it’s taking so long. I need it in my life like yesterday.
As a person with BPD, I really love the design of the rabbit. The bomb backpack feels representative of the struggle with the disorder without making it a hateful caricature of folks who have it. I also like the possibility of a fluffy fur texture. I just stumbled on this page and so far, everything I’ve seen has been really thoughtfully designed. Very excited to see the Lauch! The color scheme also ROCKS, I’m biased though because they are two of my favorites.
It’s not out yet but I’m so excited! I have anxiety bunny and she helps me out so much with her worry bunnies! I’m so excited to grab BpD buns and all of them!
It actually makes me want to cry a little bit as our disorder is being seen and normalized if that makes sense in a way?
