Plushie Dreadfuls - PTSD Bunny
Plushie Dreadfuls - PTSD Bunny
Trauma leading to PTSD is often the result of the destruction of our reality. A confrontation with Chaos results in our trust and understanding of the laws of nature becoming unmoored from our perceptions. The earth falls from beneath our feet. We are left floating in a void of the unknown. Who can we trust? How do we know what's real? Who are we? And how do we regain our ability to "be" again?
Once known as "Shell Shock" WebMD defines Posttraumatic stress disorder as a "serious condition that can develop after a person has experienced or witnessed a traumatic or terrifying event in which there was serious physical harm or threat. PTSD is a lasting consequence of traumatic ordeals that cause intense fear, helplessness, or horror. Examples of things that can bring on PTSD include sexual or physical assault, the unexpected death of a loved one, an accident, war, or natural disaster. Families of victims can develop PTSD, as can emergency personnel and rescue workers."

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.
Love MR KRUNKY
Love my PTSD Bunny
The bunny is very cute and soft, and as someone with CPTSD I find it comforting. When I'm having a bad day I love snuggling with my bunny under my weighted blanket, it really helps! I want to get more of the bunnies too for sure! I love the idea of these plushies and I think what this company is doing is great, it's a genius idea really. My only advice would be to make the plushies a little higher quality. I was hoping for something softer and like, more floppy, if that makes sense. They are nice still though I just think they could be better. That doesn't stop me from wanting more! I bought one for my bff too:)
It is adorable and perfect.
PTSD Rabbit with a tiny friend ^_^
My PTSD Rabbit arrived today💜 This plush feels very soft just like my Hysteria Rabbit and I really love the details in everything! Tiny trauma bunny is adorable✨ Disclaimer - I don't really have this mental health issue. But have been through trauma before in my life... that was from bullying and toxic group chat😔 I like how the 2 mask represent hiding your true emotion along with the chains showing what it feels like being trapped with bottling up your feelings, which cause them to get worse (chains get heavier or more appear) Black hole is like a ball of negative thoughts & energy. Tiny bunny is like a comfort thing that makes you feel calm👌 This is just my interpretation of how I see this PTSD Rabbit plush 👀
